Rules for Examination

  • There will be 4 Periodic Tests and two major examinations in a year, i.e. Half yearly and Final Term. Besides internal assessments, and regular class tests will also be conducted regularly on class basis.
  • Parents are requested not to send their sick children to school for any test or an examination.
  • If any child does not attend the school for the entire day on any unit test/ exam day, the marks of that day’s subject will not re?ect in the progress report. If any
child does not attend the school on the previous day of any unit test 5 marks will be deducted from that particular subject.
  • Promotion is given on the basis of whole year’s performance and not merely on the marks scored in individual exams. Every student must be present for all the major exams. The weightage of all the exams is taken at the end of the year. Total aggregate of these is taken at the end of the year. Total aggregate of 40% in each subject is a precondition for promotion. Class work and home work will also be assessed and is mandatory for promotion.
  • There is no provision for a re-test or re-exam.
  • The result declared at the end of the year is ?nal and will not be reconsidered.
  • Ranks will be given only to those students who have passed in every subject.
  • Strict action will be taken against those who resort to unfair means in the examinations.
  • If a pupil does not pass in all subjects, any concession availed by him/her shall be cancelled.
  • The evaluated answer script and the assignments submitted by the students are within the jurisdiction of the school and therefore no outsider has the right to check, scrutinize or claim the answer scripts or the assignments. Answer scripts are retained in the school only for a period of one month after the publication of results.
  • No leave application or medical certi?cate shall be considered for exemption from a test or an examination.
  • 75% of attendance is compulsory for the students to appear in the Annual Examination.
